Everybody who got to know this very special breed will never forget them. Playful, cuddly, always joking around, however calm minded, strong spirited, trustful and thoughtful - that is how they win our hearts. Their origin is still a mystery. Already the Indians of North America treasured the rare Curly Horses. They are extremely robust and really wake up when it is getting cold. They make excellent use of feed. Thanks to their robustness and good nature lead to first breedings starting around 1900. The family Damele have to be praised in this context. The most impressive breed characteristics are the curly coat, mane and tail, especially in winter time. And the best: Many people allergic to horse hair either do not react at all or only a little to the Curly Horses! We support the preservation of this beautiful and rare breed. No matter if curly or straight, you will decide that a Curly Horse is the horse for you if you are looking for "that little special difference"!
